What you will learn:
This relaxed workshop will take about 6-hour on location and take you through all the creative and technical aspects you need to take fabulous portrait photos with the help of our model.
We will move through the woods and stop to discus the points below and practice the different techniques on a model. Breaking for a picnic lunch.
You will learn simple and inexpensive tricks to make the most out of any camera you own!
The skills here will be transferable across a wide range of gear, we will not have time to teach you about your particular camera’s settings.
You will take away a camera card full of images from your day and we will provide a crib-sheet to help you practice on your own.
To bring: your DSLR camra and lenses; picnic lunch
We are fully certified and children’s courses can be arranged on request.
What you will need:
A plastic bag or foam to sit on
Minimum equipment: A bridge camera
Ideal equipment: A DSLR (interchangeable lens camera) with a 50mm up to 135mm lens
What about the weather?
We are somewhat dependent on the weather, mainly becuse of the euipment.
Heavy rain may stop play, or force us to run the workshop inside.
If we are lucky with the sun, we may decide on the day to stay-on after 4pm and capitalise on this.
Magda is a professional photographer with a teaching qualification and Mark Dunk is a professional photographer and former Art College lecturer with over 25 years of Photoshop experience.
Mark has a passion for the outdoors and the technical stuff! Magda is passionate about portraits and fashion photography and especially natural light.
